<p>Color can affect how we feel and influence what we think. In general, bright bold colors tend to stir us up, while the softer pastel colors calm and relax us. Responses to colors can vary by age, gender and cultural background.</p>
<p>Colors will affect how a potential buyer reacts to your ebook. Carefully select your color scheme for your ebook cover. Here are some guidelines to help you make good color choices. Bear in mind that these are guidelines, and that there are no hard and fast rules. Just use common sense.</p>
<p>&#8226;	Consider your audience. For example, if your ebook primarily targets men, then you will want to use strong, bold colors.  If your target audience is women, then choose soft, pastel colors. If your focus is on children, choose bright, vibrant colors.</p>
<p>&#8226; Choose colors that are appropriate for your book&#8217;s topic. For example, green may work well for books about starting a home business, making money, and reducing debt.</p>
<p>&#8226; Use colors that match or complement the color scheme of your web site.</p>
<p>&#8226; Keep the number of colors down to two or three, and no more. This does not include photographs which can have a whole range of colors.</p>

<p>Blue - Confidence, travel, freedom, truth, professionalism, wealth and power. Also tranquility, dependable, acceptance, patience, understanding, cooperation, comfort, loyalty and security. It is one of the most calming colors and is associated with the sky and the sea, intelligence, reassurance, and trust. Blue has also been known to be an appetite suppressant, so it would not be good for cookbooks or recipes but you can consider it for diet books.</p>
<p>Green - Money, wealth, prosperity, calm, health, food, nature, hope, growth, freshness, soothing, sharing, and responsiveness. Green symbolizes spring, renewal, and fertility.</p>
<p>Orange - Health and vitality, autumn, youthfulness, fire, steadfastness, courage, confidence, friendliness, cheerfulness, warmth, excitement and energy. Has been known to stimulate the appetite. Vibrant and warm, orange is associated with autumn and the earth.</p>
<p>Yellow - Light, purity, understanding, caution, brightness, intelligence, joy, organization, Spring. Yellow often represents sunshine, warmth, light, energy and happiness.</p>
<p>Purple - Dignity, sophistication, creativity, spirituality and mystery. Deep purple is associated with royalty and richness, while lavender is associated with romance and nostalgia.</p>
<p>Brown - Credibility, stability, the hearth, home, the earth, wood, comfort and strength. Brown can be used as a neutral or a warm color.</p>
<p>Black - Space, night, authority, dramatic, classy, committed, serious, power, elegance, and sophistication.</p>
<p>White - Purity, peace, perfection, fresh, easy, cleanliness, goodness, and spirituality. Worth noting here, white represents life and marriage in Western cultures, but it represents death and sorrow in Eastern cultures.</p>

<p>When you think about how to write a sell ebooks,<br />
think about 1 of these 3 proven &#8220;types&#8221; of infoproducts<br />
that will turn your prospects into buyers&#8230;</p>
<p>1. Innovator.  You have identified a tip, technique<br />
or strategy that will go one-step further (incremental<br />
innovation) or take a giant LEAP forward (radical<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I don&#8217;t know about you, but I get a lot of joke stuff arriving in my email. I&#8217;ve got one buddy in particular who hardly lets a day go by without sending something.</p>
<p>Sometimes they&#8217;re side-splittingly hilarious, and other times they just don&#8217;t make the grade &#8212; it&#8217;s a question of taste I suppose.</p>
<p>Anyway, I was cleaning up my folders in Outlook Express recently to make some space on my hard disk (I&#8217;ve got a whopping 20 Gb and I&#8217;m already getting low on space &#8212; must be all those MP3&#8217;s&#8230;)</p>
<p>Well, anyway, I knew that my &#8216;Jokes&#8217; folder was taking up a lot of memory (it&#8217;s full of images, video files and so on), so I decided that a major cull was needed.</p>
<p>As I went down the list, I had no problem deleting the turkeys, but it broke my heart to delete the jokes that could still make me laugh second time around.</p>
<p>And then it hit me. Why not make an ebook full of all the funniest stuff? That way, I can delete them from my hard disk and pack them all neatly into a single, compressed ebook file. And, thus, the idea for &#8220;101 Hilarious Jokes To eMail Your Friends&#8221; was born.</p>
<p>It was never my intention to actually sell this ebook, (which is why you&#8217;ll find it free on the BizzyDays website). However, it was never my expectation either, that it would prove to be such a resounding success.</p>
<p>Sure, I knew it would be popular with visitors. After all a joke collection is always a popular idea and, if it&#8217;s free, well hey, all the better.</p>
<p>The point though is, I never fully appreciated just how much additional traffic this funny little book could generate. I get at least 100 extra visitors EVERY DAY thanks to a book that I just put together to save disk space.</p>
<p>Not bad for two hours of enjoyable &#8216;work&#8217;.</p>
<p>So what&#8217;s the moral of the story?</p>
<p>Well there are three of them:</p>
<p>MORAL# 1: Free ebooks are a terrific way to promote any online business. <p>MORAL# 2: People like jokes! Humor is always in demand and, yes, a lot of people are willing to pay for it.</p>
<p>But here&#8217;s a tip if you plan on selling joke ebooks &#8212; don&#8217;t make a general &#8220;101 Jokes&#8221; ebook. It would sell some copies, but not enough. A far better approach is to target SPECIFIC audiences.</p>
<p>Instead of &#8216;101 Hilarious Jokes To eMail Your Friends&#8217; why not &#8220;101 Hilarious Jokes For Expectant Moms&#8221;, &#8220;101 Hilarious Jokes For Lawyers With A Conscience&#8221; or &#8220;101 Hilarious Jokes For Dairy Farmers&#8221;.</p>
<p>Okay, I admit, that the second title wouldn&#8217;t have much of a market :-), but imagine the novelty gift idea value of the others.</p>
<p>Okay, specialist joke books will take you longer to compile than general joke books, but think of the fun you&#8217;ll have along the way.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve finished compiling an appropriate collection of jokes for the target market, all you&#8217;ve got to do is ensure that you aim your promotion at the right people and, hey presto, you&#8217;re in the money!</p>
<p>MORAL# 3: There is an infinite number of ideas for top-selling ebooks and coming up with those ideas is much easier than you may think. And, once you know how to pluck great ideas out of thin air, your success in ebook publishing is a simple matter of promoting your ebooks to the right target market.</p>

<p>Though Jim Edwards and I wrote a #1 best-selling e-book titled &#8220;How to Write and Publish Your Own OUTRAGEOUSLY Profitable e-Book in as little as 7 days,&#8221; you can do it even quicker than 7 days.</p>
<p>How?</p>
<p>Here are at least three ways:</p>

<p>That is, speak your book and then transcribe it using a service such as <a href="http://www.idictate.com." rel="nofollow">www.idictate.com.</a> Or use one of the voice recognition software out there, such as Dragon Naturally Speaking. Either way, if you&#8217;re more comfortable speaking rather than writing, speak your book first.</p>
<p>2. Coauthor it.</p>
<p>You can make yourself almost instantly famous by associating yourself with someone who is already famous. Jim Edwards came to me over two years ago and asked to coauthor a book with me. He said he would do most of the work. I agreed. The result was the e-book I mentioned above, which continues to be a bestseller. Since then, Jim is now a recognized authority in his own right and has written several other e-books.</p>
<p>3. Make soup.</p>
<p>This is the &#8220;Chicken Soup for the Soul&#8221; approach to creating a book. You don&#8217;t write a word. You simply ask people for contributions. Joe Kumar did this with his popular e-book &#8220;30 Days to Internet Marketing Success.&#8221; Joe is a teenager in Singapore, totally unknown until he compiled his ebook and made himself an online celebrity. Jo Han Mok and I just did this with our new book, &#8220;The E-Code.&#8221; We simply wrote people and asked for their contribution. It&#8217;s amazingly easy to do. You can be unknown, and famous people will give you contributions.</p>
<p>Again, writing e-books doesn&#8217;t have to be hard or take a lot of time. The trick is in delivering something people want. Do that and no one will care if you wrote your baby in an hour, a day, or a week.</p>
<p>But once it&#8217;s written, you can make passive money from it for a long, long time.</p>
